Nepal in transition

Will Nepal turn into a banana republic? Will it turn into a failed State?

Will a new Shangri-La turn up at last?

The country has so many mysterious aspects to offer, that there are tens of thousands of books available about Nepal.

Many of these books have to be re-written for sure!

Certainly, this applies to all the trekking guidebooks that exist about this beautiful country.

Moreover, of course in all the languages humanity knows!

There are so many things to write about Nepal that it appears to be an unlimited source of creativity and story writing.

Even if there are half a million books about Nepal, a writer can always find a niche in it.

Nepal is like a mini-planet itself. A tiny, landlocked, multi-climate area, with astonishing features that’ smaller is than France .

Imagine a France that has a different climate in every province you go!

Like one could go from a little piece of African savanna by bus within a couple of hours directly into Mediterranean orange gardens, just to find out that after a few hours of walking, one enters a Canadian pine forest, that ends at the glaciers of arctic ice.

If one would use a helicopter, that journey would last 45 minutes only!

How do we know this?

Because we do this very often. We have to...!

Follow us...we are the people who walk and fly and travel with dogs in Nepal...searching for missing people....missing in the high mountains, missing in the jungles and lost during floods and landslides....poor Nepalese and foreign trekkers alike....our dogs are trained to search and find people....dead or alive...
